on #general-announcements channelHey everyone, I don’t really like to make announcements like this, because I’m a pretty lenient person in terms of moderation and have never been heavy handed in my approach with communication, but we are noticing a lot of extremely negative comments that come in a consistent pattern. We have allowed a lot of discussions to continue on for a long time, but it’s extremely demoralizing to both players and staff to have to firefight these issues anytime they come up. You can keep critical feedback coming, and you can express your displeasure, but if we deem things to just not being constructive, we’re just going to need to pull the plug with your time on the official Discord server. We’ve allowed a lot more to transpire here than we would have on the play.net forums, but we simply can no longer allow it.
It should go without saying, if you’re advocating physical violence, giving death threats, and giving out someone’s real information (name, address, etc) that’s going to not only be your end here on Discord, but with the game as well.
