Over the next couple of months, we’ll be looking at GameMaster applications. We will be looking at various roles with a priority on coding and creating. You don’t need to be an experienced developer or programmer, the interest and ability to learn is more important. To give expectations on timelines, we usually won’t start a new hire class until late October or November. Some qualifications we’ll look at are:
* Active player.
* Availability of around 60 hours a month.
* Self starter.
* An intoxicating desire to to get creative with PKing.
* Strong communication with remote work.
* Interest in building a better GemStone IV experience.
We typically review your account to see if you’ve had any recent warnings, if you work well with our current staff members, and if you’ve been playing our game for awhile (doesn’t necessarily need to be consecutive years). The onboarding process can feel a little long, as basic training stretches over a dozen classes, but you can get your hands right into a variety of things right after the first week. The role is an independent contractor and there are several forms of compensation that we can talk more about should we offer you a GameMaster position.

You don’t need to finish it all in one sitting, but make sure to complete the application and the areas of interest. If you don’t fill out which sort of role you’re interested in, it won’t populate your application for us. If you applied in the past, update your application so that it shows us you’re still interested. Even if you don’t change anything, it will place it back at the top.
