Meraki Updates Forging Wiki

in #craftingI’m sitting down and working on this now but I am a little confused how the DF/Breakage Bonus percentage numbers were determined in the https://gswiki.play.net/Forging#Usefulness_of_Forging section. There ARE bonuses to “base strength” and “base durability” (those numbers you see when you assess a weapon) but they aren’t percentages. As per https://gswiki.play.net/Breakage/saved_posts, we were referring to them as STR and DU.
It’s probably not a big deal since breakage is basically is not implemented and currently on hold indefinitely. But for the sake of consistency and completeness, I’ll update the DF/Breakage column to STR/DU Breakage and include the numbers as I see them for each quality tier.
Okay, I’ve updated various sections of https://gswiki.play.net/Forging and hope it provides some clarity for players. Specifically I updated:
– Usefulness of Forging section with confirmed numbers (and also included the default quality adjectives given for each tier and which race results in that default adjective).
– Updated Racial/Profession Modifiers (I also added the missing Aelotoi race from the chart).
– Added polisher quality adjective usage (which is how you can change your weapon/hammer’s quality adjective to another one of the same tier or a lesser tier)
If something seems off, you’re welcome to ping me. I double-checked everything but I’m only human. There was a lot of double and triple cross-referencing to pull these numbers up for folks.
