on #prime-announcements channelStanding on a small tigerwood bridge, two elves lean against a post. They begin to chat as they gaze out over the ocean, the water illuminated by the reddish rays of light coming from the sun sinking down past the Dragonspine Mountains far off to the west.
Looking over at the other, one of the elves covered with old scars says, “Hey Jeryme, hope ye got the ale ready.”
The other grins and responds, “I always have it ready, you know that. Why do you ask? “
“I understand the road is almost cleared for folks to travel from the Fortress. When the ships start pulling up, I know they’re gonna want yer drinks.”
Gazing at the other with interest, Jeryme asks, “So, when do you think we could see the first folks traveling down the road Nephr?”
“I ‘spects we could see ‘em as soon as Feastday. Be good to have some folks around to talk to. It’s been a long time getting that road cleared. I’m glad to see it completed.”
Jeryme smiles as he says, “Yea, be nice to see more that your ugly mug around here.”
Chuckling, they grin at each other, shake hands and wander off.
