DUSKRUIN PREVIEW: GM Quilic announced a new line of doodads to control how you appear for the Best Foot Forward shop in Bloodriven Village. Set your little doodad to feature your eyes, hair, distinguishing mark, unique feature, or something you are wearing.

Best Foot Forward will be selling a collection of pinworn trinkets, each of which will allow you to emphasize one facet of your appearance or worn inventory.
All trinkets are sold with a single hour long charge per day, and when activated, they will insert an extra (bold) line at the very beginning of your appearance, thusly:

The first thing you notice about Quilic is his long grey beard!

All trinkets can be toggled between emphasizing the following:
Your eyes (When your tiny pin is active, anyone looking at you will focus on the following: limpid viridian eyes.)
Your hair (When your tiny pin is active, anyone looking at you will focus on the following: sleek platinum blonde hair shaved at the temples.)
Your distinguishing mark (When your tiny pin is active, anyone looking at you will focus on the following: long grey beard.)
Your Unique feature field (When your tiny pin is active, anyone looking at you will focus on the following: He has deep smile lines at the corners of his eyes.)
A single piece of worn inventory (When your tiny pin is active, anyone looking at you will focus on the following: red firewheel flower.)
Notes:
You cannot change what you are emphasizing while a charge is active.
If you are emphasizing a worn piece of your inventory, removing that item will cause your trinket to go dormant, and the charge that was expended will be lost.
Certificates are available to add an extra hour/day charge, up to a maximum of 20 uses/day.
There is no messaging for anyone but the wearer, so this can be done ‘subtly’.
Verbs:
TURN (toggles through what you are choosing to emphasize)
PUSH (Uses up a charge to begin an hour of emphasis on whatever the trinket is set to)
POINT (Designates a piece of worn inventory to emphasize when the trinket is set to do so and activated)
Q&A:
A: Non-functional
A: Tattoos do qualify
A: It’s actually monsterbold in game.
Q: Will it work on an item that is hidden by a shimmer trinket, enhancive hider, armor concealer, inventory concealer, full appearance illusion, etc?
A: This will function on items that are hidden by the means listed
Q: Will there be a way to increase the duration of a charge, or make it automatic/permanent? I assume there are people for whom 20 hours/day will simply be insufficient.
A: At present there isn’t any functionality for increasing the duration, but that may be something I explore down the line
Q: What kind of maniac examines people instead of looking at them? Did you accidentally kiss an entire room once?
A: Muscle memory! I learned early on to use examine, and that’s my default now.
