Three Commands Updated To Show You Material Rarity

UPDATE: GM Vanah announced that the INSPECT, APPRAISE, and ANALYZE commands were updated to see the rarity level of their items and gemstones. This will help you ascertain what you may need to provide (or not) for alterations. In the case of extremely rare things, you will know that they cannot be used in alterations without it saying it is fodder, or if it cannot take a dye. ALTER guidelines 41, 43, and 45 were updated.

The INSPECT, APPRAISE, and ANALYZE verbs have been updated to give players a way to see the rarity level of their items and gemstones. Gemstones and wooden and metal materials that are very rare or extraordinarily rare must be provided for alteration services. Extremely rare items cannot be used in alterations, unless it is something that says it is alter fodder with more specific rules. ALTER 41, 43, and 45 have been updated.

This will hopefully make it easier for you the players to see if a material must be provided or if it is restricted in some way. It will also tell you information on certain materials with specific exclusions, and if a material cannot take a dye.
