I’ve just rolled in updates to the erithi hairstick weapon script (https://gswiki.play.net/Sai_Hairsticks).
Fixed a bug that allowed you to SLAP the hairsticks and get the weapons in-hand even if you didn’t meet level requirements.
Updated the ANALYZE
Updated behind-the-scenes stuff to better match up the three items (hairsticks + the 2 weapons) so sets can’t accidentally be mixed up.
Item #3 there is the one that may be a bit of a persnickety issue. While I’ve tested it extensively without issue, I’m always aware that you all can come up with new ways to think of how to break them…
To update yours, please ensure they are in hairstick form, held, and then ANALYZE or SLAP them, and that should kick-off the conversion. SLAP them again, etc. to make sure everything is working right.
If something goes awry, use this forum post to do let me know and then ASSIST so we can manually fix. Thanks!
This should make it easier to look at releasing more of these in the future, with other small bladed weapons besides sais.
(Heck, if something doesn’t go awry, but you happen to have done this successfully, let me know!) I’m looking forward to adding in some other improvements and getting more of these out in the wild at some point.
