Want to show off your pumpkin carving creativity? Maybe decorate a ghoulish gourd? Then this contest might be for you! All you need to do is take a single picture with a squash of your choosing that contains your character (or authenticated Discord username) in the shot on a post-it note or piece of paper of some kind. Do not edit your name into the photo, it will be disqualified. This year’s theme is Halloween meets GemStone IV’s 35th Anniversary. The contest will run from now until November 2nd at 11:59pm ET. You must have an active account to qualify. You must post in this thread for your submission to count.
You do not need to carve a pumpkin for this. You can do other forms of art with a pumpkin, gourd, or squash of some kind. You can also use a potato if you want to give Quee a shoutout. Just make sure the theme is something you would understand from the image alone. You can give some background/lore to it in the thread if you would like to, or maybe some behind the scenes on what you did.
Voting will be done in two parts. One vote will be the popular vote with the :ebonvotiveeater: :ebonvotiveeater: emoji here on Discord as a reaction to the post. All other emoji will not count. The rest of the voting will be done by a blind panel at Simutronics. Winners will be announced on November 4th during the maintenance window.
First place will take a single month of Platinum as a statement credit to your account.
Second place will take a single month of Premium as a statement credit to your account.
Third place will take a single month of Basic as a statement credit to your account.
GameMasters may participate, but they cannot place!

A question that was asked was do you need to upgrade your account to Platinum or Premium if you win. The answer is no. It will be a statement credit for the amount (so .95, .95, or .95). Up to you if you want to upgrade or just let it ride however. I’m pretty sure you can even use statement credits for SimuCoin purchases.
