UPDATE: GM Auchand announced some MAIL Improvements/Bug fixes. There’s now a way to send mail without pre-purchasing stamps, but the post-office clerk is going to ask you your priority and charge you more for the extra hand-holding.

on #general-announcements channel– You can no longer retrieve mail sent by other players (yikes!)
– You no longer need to pre-purchase stamps, but the post office will ask you what priority to send at, and will charge you an additional 50 silvers + stamp cost for the convenience of not using a stamp.
