NEWS-RR: River’s Rest Area Residents reported a minor earthquake in the area. Several folks lost their balance, Boulders fell from the cliffs of the northern river bank. Those concerned have asked for a safety check of the jagged boulders jutting out from the upper cliff’s face – just hanging there.

in towns CategoryTown criers and gossips have been spreading the word all evening. A minor earthquake has hit River’s Rest and its immediate environs. Reports have come in claiming it was strong enough to knock several off their feet, but not strong enough to do much damage in the town itself.
However, great boulders were seen falling off the cliff that forms the northern bank where the north fork of the Tempest River meets Maelstrom Bay. Concerned citizens have sent a petition to Lady Kynsella requesting a review of the cliff’s stability as several jagged boulders can be seen jutting up from the waters.
