POTATO UPDATE: PM Wyrom brought a whole list of updates to our favorite Quee Potatoes. Now, there’s spoilers in his list, so be forewarned. Bugs fixed, big and small updates, and I’m also going to just let this drop: custom settings and doll clothes.

This post will be filled with spoilers, and we won’t be using the tags for it anymore, as the potato has mostly been solved and we can move beyond it now!
These updates will be out shortly after this post goes live. The reason for the delay was a feature creep turned into a reality that had to be done! And then our 1st place winner of the potato contest had a suggestion that I wanted to also make happen!
Bugs
* The loss of whistles/hums has been resolved.
* Quee won’t show third person messaging if you’re hidden or invisible.
* The climate for MOIST has been properly added vs saying WET.
* The confirmation repeat command should not persist anymore.
* Some of Quee’s ambient messaging was not happening, this is resolved.
* There are some good ones that haven’t been discovered yet. Feel free to share when you see them! Requires certain PROFILE settings toggled on.
Minor Updates
* LORESING had a slight update that shows the dryad interrupting the process.
* ANALYZE is slightly updated, read more below.
QoL Updates
* You may now INFUSE once every 15 hours.
Major Updates
* Quee can now have two custom settings. @Gryzzlbok is the only one that will have these for a small bit, as he won early access.
* You can now get a custom article (first 15).
* You can add a custom sentence to the description when looked at.
* Both of these will be rare services offered by certain merchants after the early access period ends.
* You can now DRESS Quee with doll clothing. Quee can only wear one piece of clothing. Once it is on Quee, you’ll need to UNDRESS Quee to remove it. Not all doll clothing is compatible.
* The delay will make sense.
* At the time of release, UNDRESS will destroy your item, this is intended. They work just like the Whax doll.
* You can now ATTEND Quee to swap the long description between the food or clothing.
* The puzzle to kill Quee and get an orb after phase 0 has been shifted to just a verb. EXTRACT. But you’re a monster if you do this.
Known Issues
* Quee doesn’t show up in INVENTORY.
* This likely won’t change any time soon. Quee does not take a worn location currently. It’s in your inventory, but not really, it doesn’t take a spot. It’s more like a tattoo.
* Instant Exp vs Field Exp
* Instant Exp is coming, I just need to figure out a good way to toggle it. I just don’t want to sit on this update too much longer.
* Quee doesn’t use a dose of what you POUR.
* This is intended. Too many drinky items out there, I didn’t want to risk breaking one of them. So Quee’s sip is very smol.
Future Updates
* Quee will be able to get drunk soon.
* ANALYZE isn’t very verbose yet. I am kind of out of room in the script, so I’m either going to have to create an overflow script or I’m going to maybe link to the wiki.
* Quee will want to play in new locations soon, they are in the script, they just aren’t firing off yet.
* Other accessories will be coming next year (I hope).

Okay, so held items from the Whax collection won’t work. Also noses and eyes and all that won’t either. I didn’t think of the Mr Potato Head approach with that, but it’s not in the cards (for now).
It can’t use the following:
Right Hand/Left Hand held items
Eyes
Nose
Hair
Ears
It can wear earrings.
