in the roleplaying CategoryAncient stories say that the Sun Throne was built on lies, stories about elves being blamed so that humans could rise to power in the ashes of once great Kannalan.
We can not know the truth of these things, time has hidden it.
We can however see the truth in our own time, that the Sun Throne sends aid only after is has caused destruction. After a rogue witch bleeds the lands with her magic, the magisters come and offer “aid” that would not have been needed if not for them.
After their own Baron made ruin of the north they create orders promising that the lands will not need to fear rogue barons and declare the land a protectorate.
After their own Knights main and kill and launch boulders at innocent children, they build a fortress and say it is for peace.
Over and over the story is the same, the empire is the problem then offers itself as the solution.
Now it is said a green sister will heal the forest, who destroyed it in the first place?
The landing has plenty of maimed or dead because of the empire, the false promises of peace do not bring back those dead.
The woods have been disturbed, animals in winter’s rest have been killed due to exposure…but now this Green Sister promises to make some fake trees with no soul and acorns are planted to replace trees older than the city itself and we are supposed to be grateful?
What type of relationship is this that causes so much harm and then asks the landing to be grateful when it does a small kindness afterwards?
Let those who wish to live in peace in the empire, do so…in their own lands to the south. Let those who wish to live free come north and live as free people.
However the Free North does not allow the rich children of rich merchants to just declare themselves emperor as if this is some type of hobby to feed vanity. We have seen that the north rewards such hubris with death, let us have no more death for the sake of rich merchant’s sons or aged human sentinels hiding in Hendor. They have no rights to this lands but what they force upon others, and it is not known how much longer anyone can survive their destructive version of aid.
Let the free people of the north, the workers, the warriors, the Rooks, the Black Thorns, the Merchants, and all others declare loudly.
