NEWS: GM Thandiwe explained that the Chakram script was updated to handle a subscript specifically for use with ethereal string. It’s a fine example of how inter-related items can get, and how our GMs are working to make niftier things. (From Discord, 8 Jan 2022, 8:42pm, Duskruin Channel)
GM Thandiwe: Let me clarify something. The Chakram script was updated to handle a subscript specifically so that I could subscript the ethereal string. Not every item is going to be updated to allow that to happen. So while you have an ethereal string, that doesn’t mean that it can be used as a subscript on your item.
