Wyrom Announces Quieting Verbs for 20th Anniversary Web Spiders

Time Lord Wyrom announes that the Web Anniversary Spiders can now be COVERed and PRODded to start and stop them, ANALYZE was updated. Now you can let someone else cause the screen-scroll in a crowded area!

The new GIFTBOX item is now released in all instances!
They contain the following items:
• a small sentient spider: This is the spider that lived inside the glaes spider charms. The GIFTBOX is a ruined version of the glaes spider charm, which you break open. • a shimmering violet orb: This is a large RPA award. • a hazy white note: This is a 1 pound lightener. • a meteor-etched gold ring: This is a gold ring guaranteed for 30 days. • a golden feather charm: This is an encumbrance reducing feather for 300 seconds and has 3 uses.
The spider has all the same verbs as the glaes spider charms. It will have even MORE features unlocked in the coming day(s)!
Everything in the GIFTBOX is account attuned to you, except the gold ring and feather charm.
Those of you who still own a glaes spider charm can COVER them for a new verb (just a minor addition).
You can claim a GIFTBOX until August 31st.

Once it expires, it will vanish on its next use.

While listed as a verb, it’s a gag verb. The spider has all the same verbs as the spider charms. Why would you read a spider?! Heh!

Ok, thanks for clarification! I wanted to keep that as a souvenir for a month of many meteors, so I was planning on appropriate usage.

To be clear, it’s verb ‘giftbox’ (so limit of one per account), not like the spider charms that were for every character when first logging in on a Web account?

That is correct. You get a message to confirm, as well, when you use the giftbox verb.

Thanks for the giftbox.
As a consequence of receiving this item, I found myself strolling to my locker to retrieve and dust off my old butterfly charm – remember them? Glad I kept roundwing butterfly. I gave her a sly tickle to the thorax and was rewarded with a flutter of translucent wings.
Think I need to take my will o wisp out to play too and encourage my wandering tattoo to come out from under my armor once in a while. Definitely more to life than hunting and drinking.
One request, could you consider adding ‘sleep’ to the spiders? So we can quietly still the ambient during large gatherings of pc’s?

Is the list based on participation in the meteor-bashing? The character that I did ‘giftbox confirm’ with received only the ruined spider charm, which went directly to his empty right hand. Nothing else, of those five items listed, appeared.
Then again, none of my characters were involved with the meteor, so do I get only the lowest tier of rewards?

The spiders can now be COVERed and PRODded to stop and start them back up. Both verbs have two sets of messaging as well. ANAYLZE was updated to include the new verbs. Enjoy!
