Salve Tests Under Way

Salve recipe tested on Shinann to see if it will cure the afflicted half-elves; Lord Brieson overseeing her progress. Salve definitely working against Chaston’s EverBlooded troops when applied to one’s weapon.

A fast recap of last night.

We tested a solution to the half blood curse on Shinann. After lots of pain Breison will keep tabs on her for the ne,t day or 2
Sir thadston tested the new anti everblood salve on his son. It has been proven to have worked.
Brieson setup a trunk in the outpost labs to store extra ingredients for making the salve. Please add and remove as needed.
Sir Thadston stated the Imperial army is currently deadlock against Talador Blameless on the outskirts of Talador.
To support the army Pylasar created a portal to talador allowing us to attack behind enemy lines hopefully disrupting the supply line of the blameless.
A side note that this is a new temp hunting ground. It does seem to have zones for many lvl ranges the lowest being outside talador walls to the capped area around and in the church of koar. You can get to the portal through the outpost courtyard just outside the tower.

even faster warning,

pylasar’s portals will drop you virtually anywhere in talador though.

so if you’re low level, be aware, you could wind up in the middle of town where the stuff is tough. and decaying will put you in the temple. in talador. where the capped and postcap stuff generates.

good luck!

Ooh, really sad I was too late to see the Shinann test. That’s what I would have wanted to be there for most!

Seconded, I’d be curious to see what occurred for that bit if anyone has a log and the inclination to share.

Asking for, uh, a friend. >_>

Well….

Raelee got to put what she learned in special knot classes and tied Shinann up. Then eye witness reports that she had toe curling tingling feelings followed by thrashing and screaming. Pretty anti-climatic really for the rest of us…

Okay, but to those of us afflicted half-elves the bigger question is: did it work (at least on the surface) or do we think it’s going to take some time to take effect or what?

All of those years spent in Mage Scouts as a girl… finally good for something.

Well, I didn’t KNOW she was thrashing and screaming. I’m looking over the log. I guess it looked odd that I stayed calm, but let’s just say, for story’s sake, she might have gone a little out of her head and not even realized what was happening. She was told to stay very still, which is why she never whispered back to anyone (and thanks for the support) or even did very many acts. To be honest, I was surprised he accepted her, instead of the poor half-elf they had brought. When I suddenly get put where everyone is watching only me, I get a bit nervous. I’m usually mychar Kenstrom to death. That flew out of my head. So, if she did thrash and scream, then I’m going to have her pretend that was a side-effect she wasn’t aware of (someone mention that to her in game, so I can report that much to Brieson). I was wondering why people were looking so concerned. She would have been pretty calm, either way, because she was trained like that, but I might have done a bit more, had I known. She’s not immune to pain; she just tolerates it better beyond that of many people, including other empaths. (which is part of her story, that I haven’t made public yet)

She volunteered, because she was APPALLED they had brought in a poor half-elf from the camp, who was obviously not too sturdy to begin with. She saw it as an injustice to put him through more than he had already been subjected to, as a prisoner. Those were the driving thoughts behind her actions. Now, I do have a character that would have loved for the puny half-elf to be the one tested… even to death. But, that isn’t Shinann.

If anyone has a capture of that session, from another perspective, please post or send it to me. It was fun, though maybe boring for those watching me do not much! LOL You don’t have to edit how many times you typed look, inv or any of the other crazy things I see I do in my logs!

My kingdom for an edit button!

I did find this… maybe that’s when it happened. Shinann would do everything in her power not to show this. So, if this is where she was screaming, I didn’t know she was. It’s all good.

You feel a wave of hot pain course through every inch of your body! Your vision goes dark for a moment, and all you feel is agony. Then it stops.

Anyone know the relative levels of each area? Just wondering.

1st area is under 50 with commoners then you go into the city and it’s probably 50-95, the temple is 110th. Crusaders have too much health to solo.

Yes, careful soloing in the temple. Took me a long time to finally bring down a priest and a crusader. End the priest first. The crusaders have very good combat maneuver skills so any who find themselves surrounded should move away.

I have significantly lowered the health on the crusaders. Let me know it’s more doable, solo style.
