News from Tamzyrr: Rogue Wizard Felthren Found Guilty and Executed

Anticipation has been building within the Imperial capital for several weeks, ever since the rogue wizard Felthren was brought in. Captured in remote Trauntor by the Hall of Mages, the traitorous Magister and his conspirators were taken to Tamzyrr to face justice for their crimes. The public trial drew the attention of many as the Hall sought full punishment for the crimes, which included treason and murder. The detailed testimony and evidence presented by Adjudicators from the Hall made clear the guilt of those involved, and a judgement of guilty was handed down on all accounts. The punishment for such crimes is death.

The public execution took place just past the Hour of Phoen on the 9th of Charlatos. A single swing of the sword was all that was needed to send Felthren from this mortal coil to face forsaken wandering beyond the Ebon Gate. Afterwards one member of the Hall had this to say, “Justice has been done. The laws of the Empire and magic apply to everyone, and all who break them will be held accountable.”
