In an attempt to regain some trust in the institution, Malvernus shared a tale of his last assignment: he had been dispatched to a remote facility of the Hall’s in Trauntor to capture some traitors, which resulted in a rather large fire. The traitors were delivered to Tamzyrr where they will soon be facing trial. This did lead to some discussion of the nature of justice as it relates to the Hall and the Empire, but ultimately Malvernus was not there to attempt to justify the existence of these institutions.
He revealed that he came back to Solhaven not on assignment, but because he simply wanted to, and felt he needed to… for he needed to respond to some letters…
