Hey all,

Various things. First, this update applies to the metamorphics that allow you to move between alterations on a single item via RUB, where each alteration is referred to as a ‘side’. There are a few scripts that have the same or similar functionality, but this one now has the Metamorphic Alteration name in the ANALYZE to make identification easier.

Per request, pretty much any merchant can now add a 3rd side.

Also per request, there a few more merchants who can also add additional sides, now up to side #6. And per yet another request, some of these merchants are listed in the ANALYZE — when they are doing alteration services or unlocking services, generally (but not always) they will be willing to work on metamorphics. So that you aren’t having to always guess who can work on them and who can’t ;). Some other not-listed merchants will offer to work on metamorphics from time to time — either they have ongoing permission but only will do them when they announce such, or they only have event/festival-specific permissions.

In your ANALYZE, you now have the option to repeat the command within a certain amount of time, and it will list out what your existing sides are set as.

Last, but not least, to make life way more confusing, there is now an “Expanded Version”. It works just like the “Original Version” -except- you can have a different article, adjective, long, and show for each side — only the noun has to remain the same between sides. This version is far more difficult to work with, so there will be fewer merchants who are qualified to alter items with it. But guess what? Those merchant names on the list in ANALYZE are all qualified. Those same merchants can also convert an Original version into an Expanded version. In general, both the alteration and conversion process can be time-consuming, so be aware of and prepared for that.
