4th Eorgaen in the year 5117Citizens of Icemule Trace:
I applaud your valiant efforts in defending our snowy city this evening. I attempted to assist in combat but was quickly slain by a towering ice golem. I’m afraid I’m well past my prime in hunting and town defense, and will instead continue to sort through paperwork in the Mayor’s office as we launch our next series of town improvements.
The Mayor was delighted, even in her weakened state, to have been visited by such caring citizens. She assures me (and Kilded, the lad who won the chance to visit her) that Empath magicks as we know it are unable to cure her of this malady. She remains steadfast in her commitment to the town, and has now told many that she trusts that I am performing my job well as appointed by her. Spread all the false facts you want, naysayers! I’m here to stay, at least for the time being. Hmph!
During the impromptu invasion in which we successfully defended our town from the horrific onslaught, I noticed that the Mayor Cruxophim and Seomanthe of Wehnimer’s Landing came up to assist, and were quite helpful. I also have learned just tonight that Leafiara was appointed as Ambassador of the Landing to Icemule. I am thrilled at the chance to form stronger diplomatic ties between these two city-realms. Icemule citizens, If you’ve an ounce of diplomacy or interest in politics in you, please reach out and report to Oubar or myself about the recent snowfall, the events that have transpired, and other relevant issues.
On another note, I’m pleased to announce that I have scheduled the first meeting of ICICLE (the Icemulian Collective for the Improvement of Civilian Life, Etc.). After this meeting, I will not be in charge of scheduling meetings, because the first duty of the collective will be to elect a Chair and assign various roles to the members.

I will serve only as advisor and in an ex-officio (i.e., non-voting) capacity. Please help spread the word to those who have been selected so that they are aware of this crucial first meeting!
ICICLErs: If you are unable to make it to this meeting but will plan to be around for the next, reach out to Oubar, the IMT TownCrier, to let him know. If you are no longer interested in taking part in this venture, send word to Hibbits before Niiman, 7th so you can be replaced.
I can’t help but reiterate that I remain steadfast in my concern for the unprecedented amount of snowfall! No one will change my mind on this climate change despite Jalodg’s fake accusations! Say what you will about orbs, shadows, platforms, disks, domes… all I hear is SNOW! SNOW! SNOW! Have you seen how eerily it sparkles of late?! Unnaturally! There’s some weather magic afoot, and I’ll find a way to prove it to you. Hmph.
Last, I noticed a strange perturbation in the sky just after I was raised in Town Center last night. I chose not to stay and investigate. Did something strange occur with that anomaly? Do let me know in stride so I can inform the Mayor. I’ll be in touch with the Warden to ask about this “Daukhera Darkflorr” in the coming days. I believe he is on sabbatical at the moment and has left the penitentiary under magical wards, but I’ll confirm.
I’m thrilled everyone had a wonderful visit to Nihala’s cottage, and hope you enjoyed defending the town as much as the town enjoyed being defended by you.
