Friday Oct 14: Landing Goes Out on Triple Attack

Friday Night, the Landing’s defenders were on the offensive. Here’s the recap from Geijon. So many deaths! But some bright spots. Small spots of Hope? Won’t this all be a surprise to Chaston when he gets to the Landing?

Subj: Bare Bones Recap – Triple Attack

On Friday night we hit the barricades, the camps and the Hendoran outpost.

– Greganth’s Camp group dug into the catacomb tunnels and used the tower trapdoor to gain access to behind the barricades. This is where Raznel stopped us on the first night.

-Drangell taunted us.

– Sir Aydan’s team gained entry to the outpost, rescued Sir Thadston and his men.

– Captain Stormyrain and her units successfully drew attention to the east side of town and fought through the grasslands with Sir Cryheart moving against the eastern side of town as they had to split. (I think)

– Scarabs hit the east side of town and the camp group after gaining access to the prisoners. Mass death. Disean saved many of us at this point by dragging us to the bridge.

– Sir Thadston and Sir Aydan’s unit found Ambrus in the outpost and upon his eventual surrender took him to the laboratory where the heinous blood rituals were exposed. Ambrus broke down and said he’d make amends them jumped through the rune window, which happened to be a portal to an alley in the Landing near the armory.

-Rysus said he had the keys to the camps. These were blood marble prayerbeads the commoners had. He handed over enough for us to breach the gate.

-Militia came and took all the freed prisoners.

-Disean was captured. He said don’t trust him, but at the time he was coherent. Myself and Leafira stated he did play a part in rescuing us. The militia took custody of him.

-The camps were burned down. Nonolinho (spelling) threw some flames at them, but I think most people attributed the fire to Bekke, since she bursts into flame. The barricades and camp were destroyed.

-Baron Spensor was found in the Koar church within the outpost. He said he was deceived. He was asked to declare for the emperor and denounce Chaston. He said he would, but he had to write missives to the appropriate people because he feared for his son’s life and that of his daughter. As a Baron he refused arrest and retired to his quarters in the outpost to pen said letters.

-Chaston is still en route.
