Like I said, there’s really only a few good reasons why you’d want to be a bard right now, and they’re those two broken mechanics. If we changed 1030 and 1035 to be more reasonable, Bards would be able to get lots of other things to compensate and it’d make designing for them far easier. Things like sonic bows could probably happen in such a world.
But whenever someone wants to add to Bards right now, it’s basically “Sorry, can’t do it. 1030 and 1035 are already putting them ahead of everything else.”
