ANNOUNCEMENT: GM Wyrom announced an ugly bug in Playershop Permits that has cropped up. The warehouse would sell you a permit (it is not supposed to) under certain circumstances, and nothing works properly after that. Please ASSIST if you were affected by this in the last week. This will be considered exploiting a bug if you dabble with it. Details:

There was a bug where the NPC in the warehouses would still sell a permit if you asked a series of specific NPC questions. The system thinks it’s selling a shop extension permit, but to the player, it looks and acts like a shop permit. These are part of the old shop system before GM Retser began updating it some years ago. They will appear to work, but these shops won’t register in the system and will be repossessed in 30 to 90 days. I don’t think you’ll be able to recover a crate from these shops, I’m not exactly sure what will happen with the system when it hits the audit period in the routine.
There were only 2 shops reported with this bug last week in Icemule Trace that are accounted for. If others made it out or someone has given/sold you a shop in the last week, please let us know. Your inventory will likely not be recoverable for exploiting a bug and you’ll get wrapped up in a pretty serious game mechanics abuse situation.
