Hello folks — the Journalist is now open (small shack on Copper Road). Here you can find Fancy Journals, a new toy designed by me and lovingly coded by Xeraphina.
Fancy Journals are a little like FancyBooks, except they come blank, and YOU fill in the chapters… and your potential subjects are your fellow adventurers! Record the lives of your friends (or enemies) on the pages of your Fancy Journal and boast about them or denounce them to your heart’s content. The tenor of your thoughts will change according to your demeanor — warm, neutral, or cold.
They come with multiple possible unlocks, and can be expanded to hold up to ten entries.

Q&A Below:
* Journals are 1000 bloodscrip, unlocks and extra chapters are as well, up to 10 chapters total. OTS they have one chapter/entry.
* An “entry” is just the name of a fellow adventurer who has given you permission to record them in your journal. And all the messaging riffs off that.
* Your demeanor just determines the messaging at the moment. It does not favor in when writing your entry.
The entries don’t have a demeanor attached to them. It’s just your demeanor that decides how nice the contents of the journal are at the moment
