We are excited to announce this year’s Ebon Gate Reunion Vault item is the Spidersilk Apothecary. This octagonal box is one part alter box and one part-inator, allowing you to customize your items and designs with the aid of a merchant.
Here is a brief description of what it does.
The box stores spiders, these spiders come in (this year) three TYPES. Alteration, Lapidary, or Tinkerer.
You can obtain a spider from the Spiderweb located in Graveyard Temporalis, Outer Rim (eastern side). There are over a hundred spiders.
Each spider, roughly, will look something like this when you analyze them:
An Apothecary Spider
A molded suede beige jumping spider is a unique specimen that functions with A Spidersilk Apothecary, which can be obtained through an Ebon Gate Vault.
This particular specimen is considered an alteration spider that can only work with items crafted of leather.
It is uniquely crafted to add a long description on qualifying items. It can transfer one of the following designs:
(article) (adjective) (item noun) embossed with curling ivy leaves
(article) (adjective) (item noun) tooled in a pattern of wild rose blossoms
(article) (adjective) (item noun) raised with a design of a crouched hare
A qualifying merchant can change these designs for you.
To utilize this unique spider, you will need to add it to a Spidersilk Apothecary.
Once this spider is your box, you can place an item that inspects as LEATHER into the box and then ask the spider to provide it with a LONG description based on the options above.
The other type of spider you will find in the web are TRANSMORPHING spiders. This year, there are two varieties of transmorphing spiders and they are:
LAPIDAIRY
An Apothecary Spider
An ebon black widow spider is a unique specimen that functions with A Spidersilk Apothecary, which can be obtained through an Ebon Gate Vault.
This particular specimen is considered a lapidary spider that will transform a foraged item into a gemstone for crafting purposes.
A qualifying merchant can change the base description (15/15/15 only) of your spider for you.
To utilize this unique spider, you will need to add it to a Spidersilk Apothecary.
TINKERER
An Apothecary Spider
A dark brown white-tailed spider is a unique specimen that functions with A Spidersilk Apothecary, which can be obtained through an Ebon Gate Vault.
This particular specimen is considered a tinkerer spider that will transform any effigy, figurine, miniature, sculpture, statuette, or statue into a charm for weaving.
To utilize this unique spider, you will need to add it to a Spidersilk Apothecary.
