The sorcerer review update of SACRIFICE is rolled out to all instances! Hearty thanks to GM Zissu for QC and feedback, and to GM Warlockes for the fantastic new sacrifice messaging as well as the release event tonight with Thagoria.
I will share many (but not all) of the formulas and requirements involved over the next few days. In the mean time, I imagine there may be some researchers out there who would like to figure things out for themselves.

Most of what’s in that document made it into this release, but not all (especially the parts related to spells that don’t exist yet). There are also a few surprises that were released tonight but are not included in the original document.

Followup Direct Discord Link regarding Tenebrous Tether bonus:
Sorcerers attempting to sacrifice a creature under the effect of Tenebrous Tether (706) now receive a +15 bonus to their attempt, provided they are the one who cast Tenebrous Tether on the target. This is in addition to the bonus against a rooted target. As recently announced, a sacrifice attempt does not break concentration on Tenebrous Tether.
