EBON GATE QUEST: An Unknown Quest has opened up at Ebon Gate this year that will continue for the next few years, according to GM Xynwen. This is a roleplaying/storyline event with three phases this year. Each phase requires you to perform enough actions to trigger the next. Those who participate will be tracked for potential future accolades or consequences. Potential, no promises. More details and the starting hints:

At Naidem this year, players can embark on a quest that will span the next few years. This year, there will be three phases to the quest, each phase requiring characters to perform enough actions to trigger the next. Participating characters will be tracked behind-the-scenes for potential future accolades or consequences (POTENTIAL, no guarantees). This is a roleplaying/storyline event, so we are not going to give a lot of information about it here, as we want players to have the ability to discover it themselves.
Starting tonight, you can access the area, and at some point this week/early weekend, the quest itself will kick off. We’ll post a quick announcement when that happens.
While we are providing a forum thread for discussion, please be kind and spoiler tag/blackout any spoilerish details!
Naidem is a big place, so we’ll just give you a brief hint as to where to start looking: it will take never-ending vigilance!
