Debuting this year at Ebon Gate in the shop “The Old Ossuary” is a new type of knife that can be multi-purpose for those who enjoy various types of crafting. When purchased off-the-shelf, a Scrimshaw Knife can let you take bones, antlers, horns, tusks, and teeth you find from creatures and turn them into Weaveable Items with different designs.

Various unlock certificates will be available to increase the amount of custom designs you can apply as well as letting you create more things. You can even unlock the knife to let you harvest bones, talons/claws, and horns/antlers from appropriate creatures.

=Unlockable Features=
Ability to create Weaveable Beads.
Ability to create feature-worn Hairsticks.
Ability to create Lock Mastery Clasps.
Custom slots for each type of item the knife can make (up to 10 each for each type), NOTE: Weaveable Items customs are the adjective, Weaveable Beads are the article, Hairsticks are the full designs, and Lock Mastery clasps are the noun.
Ability to toggle the article of Weaveable Items and Lock Mastery clasps to various default possibilities.
Ability to harvest bones/claws/talons/horns/antlers from creatures that can either be Weaveable Items or skin-type items that can be used in Sheath Making.
Ability to turn creature skins that are things like claws/talons/hooves into Weaveable Items.

I’ll copy ou the part from the ANALYZE for this if it’ll help:

* Custom Weaveable Item slots are meant for the adjective of the created item. They cannot be longer than 15 characters and should describe how the item is designed, such as a shape, a pattern, a carving style, or the like. It should feasibly be something that a knife should be able to do to bone (so no colors).

Custom Weaveable Bead slots are meant to affect the article (first 15) of the created beads. They cannot be longer than 15 characters and must include a or an. This should be something feasible you could affect on the beads with a knife, such as a shape, a pattern, a texture, etc., but no colors.
Custom Hairstick slots require the full long description for the hairsticks. The 15/15/15 of the created hairsticks is always going to be ‘a pair of <material> hairsticks’ and the custom should not contradict this. You are able to include placeholders for: hairstick material and the full name of the bone used to make the hairsticks.
Custom Lock Mastery clasp slots expect to be provided the noun of the created clasp. They cannot be longer than 15 characters and should feasibly be something you can clasp a container with. Only the noun should be provided – no material or color.
I just realized I forgot to mention something that you can do.
>wave my knife at cat
Circling your mithril knife in a complicated motion, you stop it with the point aimed directly at a skeletal cat, narrowing your eyes in concentration as you memorize the shape and form of what you are looking at. You are sure that any designs you try to make with the knife will now try to incorporate “cat.”
>turn my knife
You turn the mithril knife over in your palm, debating the design of the next object you want to carve with it. You are sure the design of the next Weaveable Item will have the adjective of “cat-carved.”

Trying to figure out where to mention that in the original post and failing. The thing you base the design on can’t be longer than 8 characters. It can be an object or a creature.

Sadly Weaveable Items don’t take long descriptions so it’s a bit more restrictive! The 8-character limit on the WAVE design object (which doesn’t even need to be filled in – I think it defaults to like … knotwork-carved maybe?) is so it’s short enough to fit in the 15-character space.
