RUMOR WOODS NEWS: GM Thandiwe announced details of the new themed Bear Mounts at Rumor Woods this year. With common bears being Brown or Black bears, uncommon ones being Sun Bear, Polar Bear, Spectacled Bear, or Moon bar, and the Rares: a Wyrese Brown Bear or Southron Brown Bear. Our ursine friends are here at last! Bears join the mountable creatures that can be purchased at this year’s Rumor Woods. Here is a breakdown of what you will find:
Common: Brown Bear, Black Bear
Uncommon: Sun Bear, Polar Bear, Spectacled Bear, Moon Bear
Rare: Wyrese Brown Bear, Southron Brown Bear
These unique mounts are summoned with a medallion.
Features that can be customized or changed will vary depending on breed, but some of the things you can change are:
Height, Snout, Ears, Markings, Body, Fur Type, Fur Color
Over the course of the next few days, I’ll be teasing ambients, interactions, and filling out the player wiki with their various customizing pieces.
This year, we decided to NOT lock any of the features to their Common, Uncommon, or Rare Status.
As a reminder, here are the differences between the mounts:
Common: 9 ambients and 6 verbs
Uncommon: 18 ambients and 11 verbs
Rare: 29 ambients and 19 verbs, plus the rare ability to find an edible and scripted honeycomb out in the wilds.
