Paladins Get New Shield Training Options – May 2025

ANNOUNCEMENT: GM Nyxus announced that Paladins can learn new Skills! Shield Specialization – Shield Throw and Shield Trample; in Combat Maneuvers: Shield Sunder. Swift Justice will apply to Shield Throw and Shield Trample but reducing their RT by half, rounded down. Additionally, Paladins can now 3x their basic shield training, which base costs being reduced to 2/0. But this training option is only available when using an Inn to CHECK IN to train.

Paladins may now learn the following PSM Skills:
Shield Specialization – Shield Throw
Shield Specialization – Shield Trample
Combat Maneuver – Shield Sunder

Swift Justice will apply to Shield Throw and Shield Trample by reducing their RT by half, rounded down, e.g. 6 becomes 3, 5 becomes 2, and so on and so forth.

Paladins Learn 3x Shield Use (sort of)

Paladins can now train the Shield Use skill 3 times per level, and the base cost is reduced from 3/0 to 2/0. However, training is currently restricted to CHECK IN at an inn. In a future update this will be made available via GOALS.
