New Payment Processing for Simutronics will have Staggered Rollout

ANNOUNCEMENT: PM Wyrom announced the upcoming transition of the Simutronics Billing System to happen with Stripe as the new payment processor, providing more security and stability for payments. Players will be notified from an official @simutronics.com email address when it is time to update their payment information on the Play.Net site. He stresses Simu will never ask for your billing information anywhere but on the official website. Announcement:

We are excited to announce that Simutronics is taking a significant step forward in enhancing the security and scalability of our payment processes.

To better serve you, we are partnering with Stripe as our new payment processor, replacing our legacy billing system.

As part of this upcoming transition, all players will need to re-enter their payment information on the play.net website when notified to do so. This is a one-time process to ensure that your payment details are securely stored and managed through Stripe’s advanced and secure platform.

To protect your information, please be aware of the following:

All official communications regarding this transition will come from an official @Simutronics.com email address.
Be cautious of any emails or messages that ask for your secure account or credit card information. Simutronics will never request this information via email or any other communication outside of our website.
All updates required of you will be handled on http://www.play.net. If you receive any suspicious communications asking you to do otherwise, please report them to us immediately.

To ensure a smooth transition, we will be notifying select users in the coming weeks when it’s time for them to update their information. Please keep an eye on your email and messages for further instructions.
