Word is an illicit treatise on the nature of dark magic, the demonic and undeath, has been spreading among sorcerer guilds throughout the continent. Authorities have yet to react, and guildmasters are feigning ignorance. “Do not be ridiculous,” said one Arcane Master, speaking anonymously through a gnoll, from a guild compound beyond the reach of local laws. “Sorcery is a venerable tradition of elemental and spiritual magic. There is nothing ‘dark’ about it.”
