A: Automatically updates. Not only that, but it will automatically advance to 24 pages.
Q: Is this flower press different from the Flower Power Flower Press ? It seems like it is, but maybe not?
A: Yes. This flower press is the one sold at the Dhu Gillywack.
It works with a portfolio.

Created in 2004, the Dhu Impress flower press was built for the famed voyages of the Dhu Gillywack. It was sold with a portfolio that allowed you to store the flowers on the center of pages and then you could show them off to folks.
22 years later, we were asked to add an analyze to them and, after discussion with Mariath, I updated them so that they could be offered again.
The Dhu Impress flower press is unchanged in its functionality. You place a flower inside, it presses it, and then you can add it to the portfolio.
The portfolio, however, has been updated with some new tricks.
Previously, you could turn the page, show the book, and place the flowers only. However, it has been updated with the follow actions:

NOT Only that, but Mariath requested that the portfolio also be allowed to have Flower Power pressed flowers be added to it. This is allowed, but just remember that all flowers added are consumed.
this should make it easier for people to press flowers, then write poetry around it, or press flowers and doodled, or press flowers and write recipes, or press flowers and write information about the flower, etc.
I was pretty tickled when Mariath said I could update them as I have fond player memories of them. The designs she built in the shop are lovely.

Originally found on the Dhu Gillywack, the Dhu Impress Portfolio was reintroduced at Rumor Woods in 5126.
You may add foraged items pressed by the Dhu Impress or the Flower Power Flower Press onto the pages of the portfolio.
Alterations:
You may alter the design of the portfolio provided the noun remains some kind of portfolio, album, book, tome, etc.
Special merchants may customize the design of the pages.
You do not have a custom page set.
Your portfolio will never be able to have more than 24 pages in it.
