While this item/system debuted at EG 2022 and is not mechanically tied to the artisan forging system I put the thread here because it can only be used by those who have learned that specific skill.
Going into EG the plan was to start small to see how it would be received then expand/improve the system for next year if it was popular. Judging from the feedback it was. Even though this has just been released we can talk about what else we’d like to see it do.
And a big “THANKS” to the scrapyard regulars. You all are a great smithing community that made my work so fun to do and were great about helping each other with ideas!

First off, I love the Blacksmith Companions!!
If you’re looking for suggestions to add to them–
1) It’d be cool to be able to change how the mark of the blacksmith looks in the show.
2) Probably extremely difficult to do without making them forget who they’re attuned to or stop working entirely, but it’d be neat to be able to also alter the way forging-hammers look.
3) Maybe a way to combine all the blacksmith companions into one large tome? or a bookshelf on wheels I can pull around? idk…
