EBON GATE: GM Wyrom announced some more Sonreeva Updates for the dungeon crawl/newcropolist at Ebon Gate, based on feedback about this quest-like experience. From titles to loot, and encounters along the way, there are 12 points to read over:

After some feedback, the following updates have been made to the Newcropolis.
- Key drops will be more considerate of your location and target ones you may need sooner.
- Temporary titles can be earned for defeating the finale boss and secret boss.
- The loot from the final boss and secret boss has a higher chance of carrying greater potency.
- Don’t read too much into this, it’s the core and heart, just has a higher chance of being enhancive/magical.
- The ghoul in front will now upgrade your reward (urglaes thumb-ring) for 17,500 soul shards (per tier).
- This allows you to skip Sonreeva if it’s not your thing.
- You can also catch up this way if it’s behind.
- If you use this upgrade method, it will be ineligible to be upgraded at the end of Sonreeva until next year.
- You can still upgrade each year and not use this method, but you must complete Sonreeva.
- If you don’t have a thumb-ring, you do need to run Sonreeva once.
- A way to change the bonus type will need to come at a later time.
- I don’t think I’ll get it done before EG closes, but it will be available next year.
