Big Create-A-Golem Update from Wyrom

ANNOUNCEMENT: PM Wyrom announced updates to the Create-A-Golem pet. 1) Customization now possible 2) Requires a FRAME for a Golem 3) At Ebon Gate, you can buy a metal frame for 25 shards (at Sonreeva Entrance) or 25 general tickets (at Luminary Entrance)-they’re shop tables, LOOK ON PART 4) Frame required to finish golem now 5) New Parts can be ADDed to the Golem, 250 shards/tickets each (Locattion TBA) 6) Quee functionality still pending. The Create-a-Golem pet has been updated. There is a wealth of information here that contains a lot of discussion going back to February of this year. ⁠[Official] Create-a-Golem

The backend for the golems has been updated to account for some more customizations. This is what took a bit to get corrected. Golems now need a frame, which will be their base material and displayed in the adjective (second 15) of their short description. They will default to metal until you update that. All the basic materials that were offered at Duskruin can be found at Ebon Gate this weekend for either 25 soul shards or 25 general tickets. If you still have a chassis, you will need a frame to complete it now.

You can now ADD parts to the golem itself. To toggle between right and left arms and legs, you FLIP the part, not the golem (chassis) from now on. You still lose the old part.

More parts will be available sometimes after this announcement tonight. New parts will cost 250 soul shards or general tickets. This will include frames and all the other parts to the golems.

I will have an additional announcement coming after I am 100% sure the backend updates didn’t break in some way on how you will be able to change the size and noun. There will also be more messaging added to the golem so it isn’t so quiet and more ways to interact with it.

Quee functionality will need to be the last phase, but now that the hard part is over, it won’t be long. Quee will also have some updates with the golem integration!
