Aiming and Script-Based Double Strikes

A couple of months ago a change was made that resulted in the loss of aiming for script-based followup strikes in some situations, such as PSM skills. An example of a script containing a followup strike include coraesine and the assassin’s blade script. If you do not AIM your attacks, then this does not affect you.

It is not generally intended that followup strikes use aiming, so this change will not be reverted. However, aimed followup strikes have been part of the game for years, and so we are grandfathering in the scripts that have supported them historically. It is safest to assume that future scripts with followup strikes will not necessarily use aiming.

The grandfathered scripts are as follows: all coraesine material scripts, the assassin’s blade, coraesine relic, twin weapons, and valence weapons. If you believe that a script was missed and should be considered for grandfathering, please @ me.

Thank you for your understanding.
