UPDATE: GM Nyxus announced that the Adamantine weight formula has been released to the public! This is no longer considered a game secret. The formula for adamantine’s minimum weight is 150% of the base weight of steel. The More You know!

Hey everybody. Adamantine’s weight restriction has historically been considered a game secret, so staff has not previously been able to give specifics on the formula. Having said that, the game is in a much different place now than when adamantine was first released in 2009. After some internal discussion we have decided to reveal that the formula for adamantine’s minimum weight is 150% the base weight of steel. If you have an item that you believe is not adhering to this formula, please comment at ⁠mechanics⁠Adamantine material review with all of the following information: the item’s name, the type, the current weight, and the expected weight. Thank you!
