A Baker Arrives at Kraken’s Fall

ANNOUNCEMENT-KF: GM Thandiwe announced the Grand Opening for Copper Potts’ Pies and Sundries in Kraken’s Fall Logging Village. There’s now a baker!

Surrounded by parcels, bundles, pans, and tins, a tiny figure stepped off the boat and onto the pier. Only a mop of red hair could be seen through the bric-a-brac that he carried through the streets. As he moved deeper into Kraken’s Fall, he could hear his name.
“Copper, you setting up shop soon?”
A tiny voice would yell over the packages, “Sure will!”
Those sailors that were out getting drinks after the long voyage eyed the man as he moved under his heavy burden of bundles. Every now and again he’d get a call inquiring after his breads and he’d always respond with a cheery affirmative.
His mother had been right. Baking enough bread to get samples out on the voyage had been a smart move. But the real stroke of luck had been the chef asking him to help him cook. Now every sailor on the voyage knew his name and word was spreading fast.
Taking the ramp to the Logging Village, Copper Potts stopped in front of the shop he’d commissioned months before and sighed. He was home.
