EBON GATE CHECKLIST for 2021
First, before any rumors start, your seashell balance will be converted to the new EG currency that begins with next year’s Ebon Gate venue. See this Discord link for confirmation from Product Manager Wyrom himself, snapshotted below in all its glory.
Before Ebon Gate ends, remember to:
- Shop
- Recharge your Carousel with the Incanter (who wanders the festival grounds)
- SPOILER ALERT: Pick up your pair of free Elesine sandals in Lich room 27626, then go to Lich room 26568, pull desk, look in the niche for your bolt of elesine
- Stock up on forging needs
- Buy the unlocks and items that can ONLY be purchased at Ebon Gate
- Likewise, buy the things that are Caligos-themed. It’s Ebon Gate’s last year at Caligos! Themed items for the Sea, Islands, Arkati, and sailing are in many of the shops, and we’re willing to guess they will not be making an appearance again with those names/descriptions
- Permify all the things
- Get your 5000 total favor for the quest
- Raffle tokens expire the 31st; turn them in for seashells with the Attendant in the Trove
- Baubles expire the 31st; turn them in to the quest NPCs which are still operating: (Wise Woman at village, if she is still working), Sailor down the path next to the stairs going down to the pier level, The Warden out there in the wilds, getting the ark ready, or the Ezreshi
- If you do not want the Ghezresh default attunement on your EG Bracelet, get it changed as soon as possible. Some, if not all, of the NPCs doing these changes will be gone before we are! See the wiki for information about the bracelet, jewelry item
- Bring home unique familiars, companions, and spirit beasts
- Pick and buy the unique horticulture on Caligos
- Charge up your Necrotic Ring in the Arena
- Make a run through the Necropolis while it is still open – it goes away forever this year.
- Don’t forget to use your flare tokens!
- There’s no promise that any of the shops at Caligos will be returning next year, so SHOP!
