There’s a great resource posted at the Officials now, a timeline of the Kestrel Family! This looks like a smallish list, but I know how much work they are to pull together from various sources. Thank you TRIFFIDKEY for all this work!

Subj: Timeline of the Kestrel Family prior to their arrival in the North, as known so far

Note: Please consider this semi-IC. All the information on this timeline (aside from the redacted part, which is easy to guess but hasn’t been confirmed in public as far as I know) has been spoken about openly in public spaces at this point to some level of detail. Therefore I consider it rumor-mill status. Subarashi has openly mentioned compiling this timeline, so feel free to ask about it in detail. Only reason it’s not fully IC knowledge in this form is that Subarashi wouldn’t have tacked it to a wall somewhere.

A (?) preceding a line indicates that when it happened in relation to other adjacent events with the same marking is unknown. It does not imply that the event itself is conjecture, just that its precise placement in the timeline relative to other events marked with the (?) is uncertain.

TIMELINE

Reannah and Dennet marry in Immuron.
Reannah moves to the Swale with Dennet, leaving Drandea behind in Immuron at this point.
Dennet begins working on something in the Swale. Unknown whether it involves the Talon, but it is the work that will result in his promotion to Grand Magister.
Quinshon, a Tehir merchant, befriends Reannah.
Naimorai is conceived.
Dennet is promoted to Grand Magister.
Reannah tells Dennet that she’s pregnant.
Naimorai is born. Dennet’s devotion to his family grows.

>Time passes, best estimate 6 months to 1 year.

Quinshon returns, Reannah demands he doesn’t return.
Quinshon politely agrees and leaves.

Reannah and Dennet conceive Cyph.

>A period of years passes – no real information on this time. Presumed that Dennet became obsessed with his work, almost certainly involving the Talon of Toullaire.

Reannah leaves Dennet, taking Cyph with her to Immuron.

(?)Cyph is assaulted and tortured by Carenos
(?)One of Dennet’s eyes changes from brown to blue

(?)Back in the Swale, Naimorai begins seeing Johnathan
(?)DENNET ACQUIRES THE TALON OF TOULLAIRE

(? – Believed to be immediately after Dennet finds the Talon, but uncertain) Dennet writes a letter to Reannah begging for her to return to him.

Reannah returns to the Swale from Immuron, bringing Cyph and Drandea
Reannah falls ill to a wasting sickness within a week of returning from Immuron – this was caused by the Talon.

(Note: the following entry takes place after Dennet sent the letter to Reannah, but it’s unclear whether it happened before or after Reannah and Cyph arrived. Confirmed to be a few months before the Kestrels left the Swale)
Naimorai begins having nightmares – this was caused by the Talon.

(Similar issue with this one, but it’s probable that it happened immediately before they left the Swale)
Naimorai has issues controlling her talents due to the Talon’s influence, resulting in [REDACTED]

Dennet and his family leave the Swale for the Hendoran outpost near Melgorehn’s Reach.

OOC note: Conspicuously missing in this timeline is Cyph’s revenge on Carenos. I’m uncertain when it occurred, and whether it’s before or after Cyph’s exposure to the Talon. I’ll be attempting to fill in the blank.
