Well, if i miss anything in my somewhat brief summary, let me know. as i wasn’t logging my session last night(I was on my laptop with not much disk space remaining). if anyone managed to save all the excerpts from what was seen and heard, please, for the love of god, post the log.

So, the fun started when people started hearing telepathic cries for help in many different dialects from small children, to Krolvin, to Trolls. what have you. in usual fashion. A great deal of us also felt pressure in our heads and a very bad headache, which was unrelenting. So after a short time of this, and many parties bumbling around looking for any signs of trouble, we found ourselves in the usual spot when things of this nature happen, The Hendoran Outpost, more specifically, the labratory and the library, to the great consternation and annoyance of our friendly(HAH) neighborhood Magister-in-residence-but-not-by-her-own-choice Raelee Svala.

Things began to escalate, from books being flung from shelves and injuring people(not severely), and tables levitating. and cracks appearing in the orbs that were illumninating the rooms.

Then, <Stuff> got real. It first began, with a Hendoran soldier arriving in the room from the hall, clutching his head, which promptly exploded. to the cheers of some, the screams of others, and the surprise of all. Well, almost all.

Then….ALl of the pure elementalists(i.e. wizards) started to feel flush. hot. pain in their heads, most of us tried to infuse our mana into the surrounding area, which…was unsuccesful. because one by one, all our heads popped like weasels, as did the heads of 4 of the new(er?) arrivals from the Hall of Mages, that arrived the previous evening with the pylon delivery. I cannot confirm whether this happened around town or not, though.

After all that, we heard a voice command, A voice commands, more than whispers, “Te klaloc.” Then just like that, everything returns to normal

Much death and consternation followed, especially after the golems started to clean up the mess, which some people made comment on, the golems acting in the absence of Dennet.

After getting ourselves put back together we retired to town, and some of us met in the Mayor’s office to discuss and hypothesize on the occurances.

And a much trod upon Raelee Svala was left behind to clean up the mess. again. She was last seen in the Mayor’s Office, yelling at many of us with a rag in hand. Since the most likely candidates for cleaning up blood and brains were decorating the floor and ceiling themselves at that point, i can only assume she stayed up all night cleaning bone fragments and blood.

Anyway, that’s my brief madcap summary. Thank you. and good night.

Oh, and i may or may not have made up the part about the rag.

Hahaha.

… my next alteration should be some sort of runestaff/mop hybrid. Runemop?

I’m skipping to the triple dog dare.

I’ll even pay for it!

Totally OOC of course:

On the TownCrier the phrase “loji lekem” was mentioned, which is Tehir and translates to Make Moon. The above, however, does not conform to Tehir cipher (gd qmyma?), so I’m wondering if it’s supposed to be Ithzir. Are there any Ithzir translators in the house?

tl;dr – It’s Ithzir. Possible translation is ‘te’ = I/my, ‘klaloc’ = strength, power, essence, possibly blood.

Cendadric says, “Hmm, a most impressive weapon of note. I’ll give you 110 silver coins for it.”

>read page
The page, written in Common, reads as follows:

Voices heard the night of Ivastaen 19 (and wee hours of the morning):
‘…help…’ – in Common, heard by many in town, from a man, a boy, and a girl.
‘Ghalarr’p’ – heard by some, maybe? I didn’t. Unknown language, I was unable to find a translation. May be troll or orcish.
‘ap ungbok. ap jirwawk.’ – Krolgeh. ‘I fight, I oppose.’
‘Iebri krai keke’ – Tehir. ‘I am blue blood.’
‘Te klaloc’ – Ithzir, obviously. Common phrase with uncertain meaning – ‘My power/strength/essence/blood’. Dergoatean’s notes have some interesting takes on this statement.
‘Iebri krai keke. Fizum huieb. Iod huieb. Iebri huieb. Iebri eizh.’ – Tehir, heard moments before heads began to explode.
‘Iebri krai keke’ – I am blue blood
‘Fizum huieb’ – See power
‘Iod huieb’ – eat power
‘Iebri huieb’ – I am power
‘Iebri eizh’ – I am death.

(In a later page, Rashi’s deciphered ‘Ghalarr’p’ as Trollish for ‘help’)

Thanks. Worth noting, these are masculine form as well.

I really ought to bring my Tehir girl back to the Landing and get in on this. She blathers on native tongue, though it’s lost on nearly everyone. She would enjoy cheering on the voices.

I’m late to the punch, but yes, the notes on Te klaloc match what I’ve conjectured in the past – but without much of a leg to stand on. The phrase “Te klaloc lethi ram lette.” has appeared in various contexts, perhaps as a sort of greeting. The Kol’Tarsken Ithzir spoke it to Stone in what appeared to be a greeting, which we observed from the Reach. Glethad muttered it to himself once, and Ithzir seers sometimes do the same. “Te”==”I” is the closest thing to a “lock” that I’ve got for translation success (perhaps extending to “my” as well). “Klaloc” is much more of a puzzle.

This is the phrase Ithzir Seers mutter when standing up (e.g. after being hit, e-waved, slept, tackled), so I’m not terribly convinced it’s a greeting. It seems more like an irritated or angry utterance, given the context.

You weave another verse into your harmony, directing the sound of your voice at an Ithzir seer.
Warding failed!
An Ithzir seer reels under the force of the sonic vibrations!
It is knocked to the ground!

An Ithzir seer stands, muttering, “Te klaloc lethi ram lette.”
