Pup comes and goes between the Landing and Talador and does not hold secret what he is doing there so no reason if you know Pup that he wouldn’t tell you.
It has been some time now since we started to establish a base of operations on the northern part of the outskirts of Talador. It has taken a few months but I believe its safe enough for the clerics, farmers, and other workers to start working. We do not venture too deep into the devastation keeping to the edge of it for fear of what we may find there. I had wish to start earlier before the spring really set in but the elections and last duties held my attention. At least now I’m free to pursue this with more attention instead of constantly relying on messages back and forth.
I am thankful for the help of the Green Sisters. Their knowledge of the land around Talador is invaluable while their devotion to Lady Imaera and nature is inspiring to the rest of us. Sadly, they do not officially support this effort as the Hall of Mages is trying to keep a tight lid around this area but every bit of help they provide is appreciated. There has been little towns and groups of people we have come across that have also given aid. While these little clusters of farms are self-sustaining the loss of protection from the city guard has many of them worried. Already bands of monster and bandits have been seen taking advantage of the lack of law in the region. Lady Imaera protects not just nature but all living things so in her guidance we do what we can to help protect these farms as best as we can.
Next step is to start the study of the lands damaged from the magical explosion. We hope that the land will still sustain life and if so our job will be simple enough. Looking out across the damage I fear that will not be so and only the touch of Kuon or Imaera will heal these lands. The first wagons of supplies from the Landing just arrived with items the clerics and farmers were eager to have. Lets hope our prayers will be answered.
