New Note in Icemule Town Center
My sources say there’s a new note in Icemule TownCenter nailed (messily) to the ice statue. It sure sounds like a threat to me.

That metal thing in town, that arch, and the horrible vision inside… is it a door or window of some kind? What else could it be? What on earth has befallen us?”
The guard chews nervously on the stem of his pipe. There is some chatter that you can’t make out. The local sounds stressed, yelling something about protecting his family.
“No sir, no. It’s not safe there anymore, I agree. I’d advise everyone that danger could break out in Town Center at any time, and that they should rest elsewhere until this is all resolved. The pub is typically safe, as is the well. I haven’t heard reports of violence in those places. I also believe White Haven has opened their grounds for refuge.”
After a few choice words about incompetent guards and sorcery, the local stomps off. The pudgy halfling guard sighs and heads in a different direction, glancing over his shoulder at you.

<You hear someone chuckling from behind you. Whirling around, you see Kai with a grin from ear to ear.

You look at the Kai and squeal.
Kai slaps you in the face and says, “Had enough, little one?”
Based on the overheard conversation between this guard and a citizen as well as the recent random attacks on innocents from the dome/vortex in Town Center, it is my recommendation to all Icemule Citizens and visitors to rest in other places such as the Voln Ice Garden, the Well, the Nightowl Pub, or White Haven’s locksmiths den until ICICLE, and our Citizens can either control the energy from this dome/vortex or remove it completely.
In the event of an emergency, House White Haven will open their doors to the public for safety as well.
We are currently unable to guarantee anyone’s safety in TC should they stop to rest there.
Furthermore, the dome/vortex seems to be feeding off magical spells cast in the immediate vicinity.
We would like to deter the gathering of energy by the dome as much as possible.
