Wehnimer Landing’s Mayor Lylia writes a letter to Praxopius Fortney at the Outpost, warning of the Krolvin approach at week’s end. She asks for an assist from him and his ship.

Subj: A Letter to the Outpost

A gilt-edged parchment lies open on the maoral desk, penned in a slanting copperplate hand. The stick of despanal-hued sealing wax near it suggests its author was just about to seal and send it before stepping away.

To the esteemed Praxopius Fortney —

Word has come to us from our interim Town Marshal that a particularly ferocious band of krolvin is sweeping the coastline like a storm and is likely taking aim at Wehnimer’s Landing. Kragnack’s depredations are well known in Idolone, but we have greater warning. We also have what appears to be a potent defense against these marauders: You. You, that is, and your vessel that remains at our north dock.

I write to you to request its use against this threat. We ask that you act to protect the town to which you have so recently returned.

Kragnack is no ordinary krolvin warlord, and he commands legions of the undead. He may also be accompanied by the occasional lesser demon, according to our reports. While our townspeople are bracing for impact, having the pylons on your vessel as a bulwark against the onslaught would be a great boon.
