Lake of Fear Frozen – Bring Your Ice Skates

Bring your Ice Skates if you’re going to Ta’Vaalor, or tread carefully. The Lake of Fear is frozen over after the ice elemental attack on Monday Night. Maybe those DREADFULS swimming in it are frozen dead, too! Miss Treeva is looking for ice skate rentals, a hot cocoa stand, and maybe some stylish parkas!

The lake is frozen over! It’s now a short jaunt from the Shining City over to Ta’Vaalor, no daily pass or ferry wait needed.

I suggest an ice skating rental and cocoa shop! Eva has a few elves (and one non elf! cough Naamit) she’d like to romance and woo out on the ice. Rawr.

I would rather find other places to skate than somewhere which may contain the bodies and remains of the loyal, hard-working ferrymen that have shuttled countless souls across that accursed, frozen lake.

It’s only the one ferryman at most! He always looked the same, inspected the same and told the same damn jokes each horrific journey you were hauled across the lake. (Apparently the weaponsmith is constantly covered in flour, year after year. Why doesn’t he ever bathe after his sessions with the baker? How is that even gossip, 8 years later? It’s an established relationship by that point.) The only praise I can summon for this dearly departed individual is to say that he was very bribe-able. May your greedy soul rest in peace.

I can totally live with the one dead body beneath our ice skating rink.

Pleeeeease make this a reality.
