Goodie Bag Items Without Scripted Item To Start Distribution This Week

GM Sleken says they’re going to start distributing SimuCon goodie bag things without the special scripted item – which is still delayed. It could happen this week, from my read!
Hey everyone, we’re sorry about the delay in this goodie bag. Some staffing changes happened during the development of the Goodie Bag that has delayed the distribution of the items.
The memento item is being finalized and then everything will be ready. Due to the delay, we’ll also be adding an additional item to the Goodie Bag.
In previous years, a GameMaster usually tries to track everyone down in game, but moving forward, we’re going to use another system that we already use for global item distribution to hopefully speed this up.
Again, sorry for the delay.

It’s been another two weeks since your last update. I’d appreciate a better idea of when we can expect this to actually be delivered, the communication throughout this entire experience has been terrible. To say the least, I’m extremely disappointed in how this has been handled.

I’ve taken over the script creation and will continue working on it once I get past a large batch of last minute EG script QC.

While I appreciate the quickness of your response it still doesn’t answer the question with more than an implied I’m busy right now, you’ll get it when it’s done. I’d really have preferred you hadn’t even responded than having provided as generic and unhelpful of a response as possible.

Okay… In an effort to hopefully make you all happy, we are going to start distributing the items other than the scripted item. From what I’ve heard the scripted item is much lower a priority for many of the contributors.
More details coming later today.

That seems like it could go either way because it’s a bit of a mystery and all. Any sort of preview for what the planned idea of that is? 🙂

I would highly recommend you don’t raise the tokens like the analyze suggests. It may consume the token and create more work having to replace it. It will only work correctly during Summit Academy!
