CONTEST-KF: GM Kaonashi announced a contest during June and July for Stories of the Sea for Kraken’s Fall citizens. The selected winning entries go into a compilation in the new Kraken’s Fall library. Yes, there are prizes in addition to the Everlasting Fame of being a published author. Greetings! To celebrate the opening of the new Kraken’s Fall Community Library within Lady Niima’s Peaceful Porpoise Temple, Gentleman Hoorne invites citizens to submit their own personal Story of the Sea.
These vignettes should feature the sea as a principal setting or character, be appropriately in-genre, and must keep all POLICY rules in-mind.
Detailed rules are available on the Gemstone IV Wiki. Please read them carefully prior to submitting.
Entries must be no more than 500 words (not including title/byline), and this contest is limited to Kraken’s Fall citizens.
The contest opens TODAY and will run through the end of the month. Winners will be announced in August, after a period of review.
