GM Tamuz puts the big fix on coraesine weapons for fewer backlashes. Yay! But don’t try blessing it!

Hey folks,
Squished a long standing bug with the pure coraesine script (impure did not have this issue), which caused them to still backlash on users with high/maxed affinity. It’s still possible under a certain affinity threshold, but pretty much everyone with a pure coraesine weapon should be above that point by now.

In related news, I’ve discovered why some people were having so much trouble with the recently released coraesine weapons: they were never intended to be blessable. Being blessed actually fiddles with some important things that are causing issues with the new batch of coraesine weapons (specifically backlash). Therefore, they’ll update themselves to no longer be blessable and bump back to maximum affinity the next time you grab your weapon.
Sorry for the hassle, folks!

On the downside will this mean less Dergoatean deaths?

Tamuz, I posted in Discord, but in case it gets lost there:
Thanks for looking into the coraesine situation. Just starting to hunt with again again after getting it and seeing it’s no longer blessable. As for the “maximum affinity” you mentioned, I’ve just done a solid 40 minutes of hunting (brief break to sell) and I think I’ve seen 0 resists, 0 flares, 3 double-strikes (from searching back through my logs). Does that sound like what you’d expect?
