Wehnimer’s Landing Mayor posts a NOTICE to everyone in town with details of an offer of shelter by Grand Magister Dennet from the expected assault by another Hall of Mages Grand Magister upon town. Where is the shelter to be? Under the Hendoran Outpost.

The Notice is dated for the 12th of Eorgean in the Year 5117, and reads as follows:
ATTENTION, Citizens of the Landing: As we are making preparations for the eminent danger facing our town this Feastday, I would like to inform all citizens of Grand Magister Dennet’s offer of temporary refuge — to any who desire such — in the expanse of caverns beneath the Outpost south of town. As usual, I will neither encourage nor take any objection to your decision in this matter, as such is rightly the choice of every free person within the Landing. I understand the reservations many of you must feel right now, but I merely wish to inform you of your options so you may make an informed decision; I will understand if you do whatever you feel is best for yourselves, your families, and your loved ones. We will do our best to provide what shelter and protection we can in the coming days, but the harsh reality is that we simply do not have the means at this time to provide the security of shelter for everyone. We are taking measures to rectify this in future, but for now — as always — we must work with what we have. Those choosing to accept Dennet‘s offer should contact Moot Hall or a member of the Militia, and you will be directed on how to proceed. But for those who choose to stay, know this: we will fight to defend you, tooth and nail, against all of the adversaries of the Landing. Know that there are many who are willing to lay down their lives to protect you and yours. And as we have always done… we will stand or fall in unity.
