Mysterious Ship Scheduled for Scuttling

The mysterious, abandoned ship that surfaced in Solhaven recently is going to be the subject of an unceremonial tow and scuttle at some safe distance from the mainland on Friday, Sept 22. Authorities cite the dangers of the unknown and uncontrolled magics on board. No time was given in the letter from the Baronial Minister to Sir Mynon. I’m sure it will go smoothly and without incident… probably, right?

Sir Mynon,

I have been tasked with direct handling of the ruined ship recently deposited, via unlicensed magical activity, in the midst of the port of Solhaven. I appreciate the sensitive nature of this situation and have taken your suggestions into account. However, given the obvious presence of uncontrolled magics on board, I have settled upon a prudent and permanent solution to the matter.

The ship will be towed out to the Bay for a controlled sinking on the 22nd of this month. I believe this is the best way to protect the citizens of Vornavis from the potential dangers presented by its continued presence.
